What is it about?
Rippey AI is a logistics platform that automates key workflows like managing shipment details, customer bookings, quotes, and email documents. It’s built to help logistics companies handle complex data clearly and efficiently.

The Problem
The old system had become overgrown and lacked essential new features. We needed a platform that was:
Scalable and adaptable to support a growing and diverse client base
Clear and easy to use for users managing complex logistics data
Modern and visually refreshed to replace the outdated, cluttered interface
Design Process
Additional Features
The design process involved regular, in-depth collaboration with the product manager, frontend developers, stakeholders, and continuous review of client feedback to ensure alignment and deliver effective solutions.
Since RPA Labs focuses on logistics and dealing with data for the customers, it is very important to have templates with clear indications of data and information such as shipment, rates, and customer and sender details.
As the sole designer on the team, I navigated the challenge of understanding multiple roles and technical requirements across frontend, backend, QA, and stakeholder teams. I had to learn how to:
Bridge the gap between developers and users by translating needs into practical design solutions
Adapt quickly to technical constraints while keeping user experience up to par
Deliver key design elements that aligned with both business goals and user needs
Challenges

Redesign of the login system
Old layout of the login system

The components for this email template were inspired by the design of a boarding pass, a familiar visual for many of our users in the logistics and travel space. This approach was intended to create a sense of familiarity and make the information easier to associate and understand.
User Research
For the user research, I distributed feedback forms to clients and conducted usability studies by observing how they interacted with the application. I documented their behaviors and identified key pain points, which I then reviewed with the product manager. Together, we prioritized changes and planned new features based on real user needs.
This process became ongoing as I continued collaborating with multiple teams across the company, including QA, to refine the user experience. Over time, I placed even more focus on improving interaction patterns and simplifying workflows.
